Dr Sejal is a pediatric and fetal cardiologist, having been trained in premier institutes under eminent doctors where she has developed the skill and expertise to handle complicated cases of fetal and pediatric heart ailments. She specializes in noninvasive pediatric cardiology which is also her area of interest.
She has the experience in handling the echo room where multiple echocardiography are being done for OPD patients, indoor patients prior to surgery and postoperatively and for patients admitted for medical management in the cardiac center and also on the non-cardiac side. She is also involved in the Pediatric cardiac ICU management including the post-surgical ICU for echoes and decision making. She is very proficient in doing fetal echo, most of which needing extensive counseling and perinatal management.
She has special interest in academics, being an active participant at fellowship training program for Pediatric Cardiology. She has also been teaching students through E-classes for the last 4 years. She has published many papers and has been a Speaker in conferences to become adept in latest research. She has been an examiner for DNB exit fellowship exams and is a reviewer for the Journal of Annals of Pediatric Cardiology and Indian Heart Journal.
She is the editor of Textbook on Fetal Echocardiography, Jaypee publishers and has also written chapters in many books on fetal echocardiography and pediatric cardiology.
